Customer Reviews

"Great wait staff and really delicious food! The waitress told us some of the history of the restaurant which was very cool! The inside had old photos and felt so comfortable. We had the fried mushrooms for an appetizer and they did not disappoint! My sister had a Rueben with no sauerkraut w/fries and I had a grilled ham and cheese with raw onions. Simply delicious! May be back before heading home to try their breakfast which I hear they're known for! Will definitely be back!"

"Definitely a breakfast place, so we probably just chose the wrong thing on the menu. A little disappointed with what we got, but it seemed more catered to older folks. Expected a little better, but considering the price it wasn't terrible. Bacon burger was just that, didn't have any ketchup or anything on it (none on tables either)."

- Hailey D.

"The place was quiet at 4:30. Food came quickly and hot. My mom loved the coleslaw. Fish was good! The liver and onions was pretty good as well. Tasty. I would get it again but add bacon to it and not get the corn as a side. Two dinners and a coffee was 36$. Service was great! In addition to the 20% tip, I left the waitress an instant lottery ticket! I hope she wins. "

"What a great find. Food was excellent, large quantities, and hot. Service was above top notch. This place is a well oiled machine. They made us feel right at home. The prices were great. The decor was historic and timeless. 2 separated bathrooms available. We'll be back. Chefs kiss ."

"This place was very down to earth friendly service. My order came fairly quickly and the food was hot and yummy. The restaurant was decorated with beautiful old black and white photos and different antiques. Very nice place to stop for breakfast "

"One of my favorite northern Michigan breakfast stops. I have been going here for over 40 years. The staff is friendly and ambience cozy. The historical b&w photos document over 100 years of local activities. A family friendly environment."
